Hello everyone,

I hope that you got the letter from Pastor Vida on Tuesday (by e-mail) regarding the cancellation of church activities due to the pandemic. The current situation with the COVID-19 outbreak has necessitated some changes in our lives and also the life of the church. Pastor Vida will be sending out the Sunday Worship bulletin to you via e-mail, so that on Sunday morning we can all worship together, while apart.

Lutherans Connect has adapted their online Lenten Devotional to address our spiritual needs during this time of pandemic. Pastor Vida highly recommends them – they are rich, thoughtful and take us deeper into God’s life within and in our world.

You can access them on their FB page https://www.facebook.com/lutherans.connect/ or here https://reimaginingjustice.blogspot.com     +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If you fall ill during this pandemic time, please call the church office and let us know so that we can add you to our prayers.

CLWR Sunday

We had designated March 22nd as CLWR Sunday, and it would be good if you could still participate with a donation - in person, by mail, via our website “Canada Helps” or directly to Canadian Lutheran World Relief page for Syria relief - https://www.clwr.org/support-families-syria . The link for CLWR is also on our webpage. It’s hard to imagine being in a refugee camp with a pandemic as well! Let’s do what we can.

Last spring Pastor Vida brought daffodil bulbs to our spring cleaning day and we planted them. The picture on this title page is a picture of them taken by Pr Vida.

Some time in the next couple of weeks I will be getting our garden ready for planting with the help of the two farmers from Edible Garden Project. I’ll let you know when things have been planted and we can look forward to our harvest. I will try and remember to take pictures this year! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
