No doubt you have heard through the community that I experienced a medical emergency last Saturday while at church enjoying a lovely lunch celebrating the end of another successful English Conversation Circle with our Ukrainian friends. Subsequent to my visit to Lion's Gate Emergency, I am being followed by my family doctor who is treating me for high blood pressure.  I want to report to you that after a rough few days, I am feeling better and am planning to lead the service this coming Pentecost Sunday.  Thank-you for your prayers and thoughtful notes. 

I will be on vacation from June 9 - June 24. In my absence I have arranged for Rev. Aneeta Saroop (Spirit of Life, Vancouver) to be avaialble in the event of a pastoral care emergency. Please call the office or a member of Church Council or Pastoral Care Committee should you need to be in touch with Pastor Aneeta. 

I look forward to being with you all and celebrating the Feast of Pentecost this Sunday.

By integrating Tornstam’s developmental theory with spirituality and other disciplines, this practical and engaging workshop also sparks curiosity and offers valuable insights into how the wider church can nurture its active seniors, thereby embrace a holistic approach to ministry.  At the workshop everyone will feel valued, respected, and empowered to age with joy, grace, and spiritual depth.
