Early Church theologians like Augustine, Gregory of Nyssa and John Chyrostom noted how God played a practical joke on the devil by raising Jesus from the dead—and called it the Easter laughIn 1988, the Fellowship of Merry Christians began promoting a resurgence of Bright Sunday celebrations, terming it “Holy Humour Sunday.”

We will come together on Sunday Morning to take part in God's Easter Laugh.

Here is how you can get prepared for this Sunday:
  • Practice smiling a lot (try looking in the mirror).
  • Get those jokes and stories ready to tell.
  • Begin rejoicing in God now (no need to wait).
  • Try on a few good belly laughs..
  • Invite someone who likes to laugh.
  • Invite someone who needs to laugh.
