Children are an important part of our faith community. At Gloria Dei we are experiencing an increasing number of young children and we welcome their wiggles and giggles in our church because without them our family is not complete.  We know that bringing children to worship may not always be easy but it is an essential part of their growth in the Christian faith.

Children at Gloria Dei are full participants in the life of the community. We encourage parents to feel at home as they help their child to experience worship.  We have a children's lesson during the service and a space in the worship area for children to sit and colour or to read and listen to the service. We also have "activity bags" for busy little bodies to use in the pew during the service.

At Gloria Dei we understand that parents can sometimes feel distressed or embarrassed when their children make noise. But as members of the family, they are needed by all of us to complete the circle at God's table. We take delight in the sound of children because they help us to remember to make a joyful noise to the Lord!
