You are invited to join ELCIC National Bishop Susan Johnson in a new four-year emphasis on Living our Faith, as together we pray, read, worship and love. This year we focus on prayer. Since the beginning of September, the ELCIC has been posting weekly prayer reflections on social media from individuals across on the church. Once a month an in-depth reflection is also shared. September's in-depth reflection featured Deacon Dr. Faith Nostbakken (praying with Scripture using imagination), while October features Sherry Coman (praying together online). These reflections can be found here.

KAIROS’ priorities for Canada’s 43rd Parliament Canadians have elected a minority government. Collaboration is critical for the survival of Canada’s 43rd Parliament and is urgently needed to appropriately address mounting and systemic issues. Indigenous rights and wellbeing, the climate crisis, migrant justice, and support and protection for women peace builders and human rights defenders are pressing issues that are not going away. Action is required now more than ever. KAIROS urges all elected officials to work together to address these matters and recognize where and how they intersect.
